Orion is shipping new XTR PRO Amplifiers and XMT Pro Audio Midrange speakers, ahead of its new nostalgia amplifiers due this year.
The made-in-the-USA nostalgia amplifiers slated to recapture “the original Orion experience” are expected to ship in the second quarter, according to Orion President Jack Cali, who was instrumental in developing the iconic original Orion NT amplifiers that were popular in the 1990s.
For now, Orion is shipping the XTR PRO amplifiers that are positioned above the current XTR line and below Orion’s flagship line of HCCA amplifiers.
The four-channel, full-range Class D amplifiers are made in Korea with a compact footprint with 1-ohm stability and 0.5 percent distortion.

Both models are available at an MRSP of $449.94 and $299.95.
Orion Car Audio also released a new line of Pro Audio drivers. The XMT Pro Audio midrange drivers area available in 6 different variations, in three different sizes: 6.5, 6×9 and 8-inches.
