CRUX Ships Interfaces For Android Auto & More

CRUX announced it is shipping a new line of “Smart-Play” modules that allow drivers to add wireless CarPlay and (wired) Android Auto to Audi and BMW vehicles.  The Smart-Play modules will also be compatible with Mercedes-Benz vehicles as of early September, said the company.

The devices, among the first of their kind, allow users to control wireless CarPlay and (wired) Android Auto not only by voice, but by the factory infotainment knobs.  Users also get volume control via the steering wheel controls.

The interface modules come with a plug and play wiring harness for a specific vehicle for easy installation.
