KICKER is shipping a new line of fully waterproofed powersports amplifiers that are compact in size.
The PXA-Series amplifiers have a waterproof control door and are rated IP66 (protected against heavy seas or powerful jets of water and dust tight) or IP67 (allows no moisture into the amplifier when submerged in one meter of water for 30 minutes and allows no dust in the amplifier).
For full waterproofing the amps have sealed bulkhead grommeting and gasketed joints.
The models include two mono units at 300 and 600 watts (PXA300.1 and PXA600.1), and a 400-watt, four-channel (PXA400.4). PXA multi-channel amplifiers deliver the same power at two or four-ohm loads, offering wiring flexibility without sacrificing power. Finally, the PXA1000.5 full-system amplifier delivers up to 1,400 watts of dynamic power (see note), which includes a subwoofer channel. To control the sub output, an optional CXARC bass-level remote can be added (sold separately). The CXARC remote can also be used with any PXA.1 amplifier.
The amplifiers have 1 ohm stable mono outputs (sub channels).
